Closing threads merely because it breaks forum rules, not because they have helped. That is not the role of a Teacher, but of a Moderator/Administrator.

Tbh I can see where Awestruck is coming from. This is a good example I think. Zambies job is not to lock threads because there was arguing going on. That thread should have been locked by a moderator for that reason or answered by an SA as they can change the name....

I firmly agree there.
Unless there is confirmation that the OP has fixed whatever issue they were dealing with, the thread should not be closed by a Teacher.

Don't be salty. What Zambie did was okay, as he did in-fact answer the question. I just don't want it to get to a stage where threads are only being closed because of rule-breakage.
