Steam Forums hacked

So, steam forums got hacked. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/ anyone else noticed it?

Yes, this actually happend and is not petty things. On 11-10-11 Steam sent out a notification to all members who updated saying that the hack goes beyond the Forums and into the actual database, things like credit cards, emails and other personal information may have been breached. I know someone who had someone attempt to send 350$ to sweden along with having their email breached. I would reccomend getting a new credit/debit card if you ever purchased, using steam and destroying the old one. Also changing your steam and email account password is probably a good step to take. I just changed my Steam password, my linked email account and that emails password.

No need to panic, if you have used the same password across multiple services don’t do that and change your passwords.

Is it only the forum or also the steam usernames (Not the one on the forum but the one for the client)

It is both.

It says Dear Steam Users AND Steam Forum Users.

So just change everything that has the same password as your steam account, for safety reasons.
