Heh strategy guide I'd prefer to just spend hours and hours of sleep figuring out strategy as I go along anyway?
So what are you all going to play as?
I'm not quite sure yet.. Either a Nord, to get the 'Skyrim local' feel.
Or an khajit, so I can play as a kind of stealthy archer (Apparently archery is much improved in this games, and arrows are actually POWERFUL, rather than peppering someone with 100 arrows as in oblivion)
Or some sort of high elf to make use of the new magic system at it's height.. Hmm.. I sort of want to make a grizzled nord and combine all 3, it'll just take a while to get skilled.

Well just so I can explore a place myself first, and when I feel like I've seen everything in that place I'm gonna read the guide about it. So you know, to see if I've missed anything
Well first play through is going to played as Nord for me. I'm going all the viking way Second one should be a magician guy maybe a Breton.

For some reason I just love the little except of the theme from 0:16 to 0:23... Sounds very Pirates of the Carriririribeany.

Know what you mean. I played Morrowind last night. I played that when I was 10. The exploring theme Faustie posted reminded me off the morrowind one. remebered my child hood and got goose bumps. 6 days to go, then my life is over. After getting back into morrowind after these years, I think im going to be a Dark Elf "Spellsword" (Sword and magic). The new magic system is one of the major reasons im so happy, as the magic system in oblivion and the other elder scroll was weak. I started the game finding melelle to be much more efficent than magic so I always switched. Now I might be able to play the game using baddass two handed magic and not pissweak flingy things, make me want to fist pump.
I can imagine wandering the fields of Skyrim, detail so good you could eat it. Wandering the villages and hearing conversations that unlike Oblivion wont be about "I saw a goblin the other day" every single time.
Some may call me nerdy, I don't have time to care, as I'm too busy fighting Dragons and dungeon raiding.

6 days.. So close.. Think I've decided on playing a grizzled Nord. The frost resist will be super useful in Skyrim, seeing as weather actually affects now.
