I have no idea what the heck that is, but it sure as hell looks weird..
At first hand I wouldnt eat that, what is it?
Those rolls are a combination of beef and pork meat, alongside a little fat just so it won't taste dry, they are rolled up in a sheet of cabbage, the cabbage isn't raw, it goes on a process exactly as pickles, only we use salt and water instead of vinnegar. After you roll the meat inside the cabbage sheets, you stack them in a pot and spray tomato sauce and let them cook for 2-5 hours. That yellow thing is corn flour, it serves as a very healthy alternative to bread. You just mix it with water and boil it untill the flower expands and becomes solid. After the dish is ready, you sprinkle some sour cream on them and they are absolutely great.

Always been curios what Is YOUR favorite food from YOUR country
This ladies and gentlemen
Is BORSH' !!!!!!
A mighty Russian soup!
If there would have been Apocalypse started, first thing I will kill people for is this!
Borscht is of Ukranian origin, not Russian. It is popular throughout eastern Europe, and, yes, Russia, but it originated in Ukraine.
