Director of Development Promotion & Estleback Monorail V6


Greetings,

This announcement will cover the most recent goings on within the corporation.

New Director of Development

After reviewing both public and internal applicants for the director of development position, I am proud to announce that the Estleback Corporation's new director of development is Sam Davis (Molyneux481).

Though Mr Davis has only been with us for a few weeks, he has shown great loyalty and enthusiasm for the corporation.

On top of this, his experience and record with event planning was a strong indicator to us that he possesses the required qualities for the job.

Though he has only been in his position for a short period, he has already gone out of his way to further the organisation's efforts, and produce ideas and improvements.

I once again thank all other candidates for applying, and sincerely appreciate the time and thought they put into their applications.



Estleback Monorail V6

This evening saw the resurgence of Estleback's monorail system.

I am glad to say that this iteration was better than ever before, implementing a new and more robust movement system that ensured a consistently smooth ride.

The monorail followed a circuit around the city, and featured three stops to help residents traverse the concrete jungle in speed.

After the operation, operatives were taken for a corporate 'day out' to the drift school, and, with an experienced instructor by their side, enjoyed pacing around a drift track.

Alcatraz Contract

In other news, I am pleased to announce that in May we signed a second contract to assume governance over Evocity's historic 'Alcatraz' prison.

Following our first detail at the location in 2017, a detailed refurbishment plan was produced and was finally put in motion after the signing of the new contract.

Unfortunately, due to COVID social distancing restrictions, progress has been slow, and the entire restoration has not been completed.

However, a substantial part of the prison, including the foundations, has been updated, and we are ready to resume activity at the location on the 19th June 2020.

Thanks to easing of social distancing measures, completion of the refurbishment work is expected to be at the end of August.
