Remember, that Poland was attacked from all border sides by nazi Germany, Slovakia and Soviet Union, and first time they use "Blitzkrieg" even later france didn't change there tactic

But yes Soviet Union take control of Poland after USA and UK give Poland to Stalin hand's, But they send only former Home army members to Siberia labor camp anyway in 89' Wałesa throw domino with colapse eastern bloc .
And yes Soviet Union bombed most of Poland (my city in was destroyed in 87% only our Cathedral was only little damage)

I see you are from USA so you not know much about europe history
