Hey I'm a coder in many languages (not just glua) and am interested in helping fearless out a bit. (Some of you may know me from facepunch)
I don't have many active projects at the moment so I could spend enough time to fix up some of the problems of fearless.
Now the OP states I should pick an approved suggestion and just code it, but I'm much more interested in improving some of the systems that are already in place (such as the anti-cheat (well I think there is one since someone got banned for having sv_allowcslua 1)) and finding/fixing exploits in the code.
I could also do general code review on what the other coders contribute (that's a common practice on big projects to make sure noone made a dumb mistake or left an exploit in).

I'm sorry, but you seem to be a bit ahead of yourself. No-one except Temar and Soul have access to the code of the server. Also, I clearly stated what is the proper procedure, please follow it.

Is there a different way then than to go through the "contributors program"?

You have to understand that we don't give our security system access to people who have coded for FL for a long while, so please don't be offended if I say you won't get access to it.
For now, the only way is through the program, same as everyone else. Equality and all that jazz.

So how are we supposed to code something "in" (as stated in the op) then without having access to any of the codebase.
For example to fix the approved bugs in the suggestion section, I'd need to understand the system that is underlying the bug to then find a fix.
Another example would be the "Remove being arrested with weapon out" thing, where it's impossible to code without knowing how the arrest stick works and so on.
I can understand that you don't want to give up all of your code in fear of it being leaked by new people, but you have to at least provide an acceptable work environment (especially if you want them to volunteer). Otherwise we'd either have to guess how things work in flrp or recode the whole thing afterwards. (Especially your current coder must have considered this in advance)
I would suggest that you only give out code relevant to the thing the contributor is working on.
So for example me volunteering to make your anti cheat better to improve the experience of flrp as a whole, I'd either need your current anti cheat (if there is one), or documentation on your admin mod's api to ban people that are detected.

You're supposed to code for a similar gamemode named cider, also were not going to give you access to Anti Cheat cuz if you find an exploit then you know how to exploit it.

But just as an tip there should be an link in the OP where to download the proper Cider + maybe Some installation instructions and requirements such as an server.

One of the anti-cheats: ScreenGrab
Temar could do something all developers do, and provide documentation on how to use several commands. That way, you never reveal the full code (Although, pointless imo. 60-70% is shared or client-side, so small snippets will not hurt)
GL fixing Cider btw, I doubt anyone has the competence to do it.
Also hey DoomDude1, I bet it was SO HARD to use Blade's Anti-cheat, right? Temar would know.

As a conclusion: It would be easier to just create a whitelist instead of blacklisting random outdated hacks.

So yes we can take a screen shot if we suspect hacks
yes i can check for known hack files
yes i also check other stuff in anti hack
and yes some of the code was gotten from elswere, modified and improved
and some of my own stuff added
This thread isnt for getting and posting current code thats in place to try and help you from hackers
and also extracting the code and publicly posting it is unacceptable and said user has been forum banned
