Horrible Lag

My fps is about 30 when I play, is that a bad thing?

Yes it's low.

I believe it was something around <60 FPS when it's beginning to lag.

Did you check your temperatures?

Also, did you try other graphicoptions?

Graphics - It's says my system can run the currently settings

Edit: Updated my graphic card, maybe that work, I will check.

30 FPS is perfectly fine. 20 is stuttery for most people (not for me, though).

I play at 20. The best I can get is 60 but thats when my computer wants to stop having a HissyFit and run Garrys mod correctly.

For me it usually runs at around 20-40 FPS, which is actually quite smooth. Lowest I've noticed at was about 10.

Where is the server even hosted from?
I mean when ever i get into a car it lags like hell and my fps gets to like 5-15 but when i'm not in my car its like 40-60.
Don't know how to fix this but it's pretty problematic considering that i love to play as a cop who chases down people.

Must depend on the computers then, for me games begin lagging under 50 FPS most times.

I updated my Graphic Card and now play with around 40-60 FPS, it worked alot, thx.
