SAN RANEVO POLICE DEPARTMENT
The San Ranevo Police Department, a long established department that has not yet had the pleasure to reach this city.
Through our time here we sit by some aims, to help improve general life within the city, and outside. To ensure a professional police department is presented to the public, and allow for some structure within the police force of this wonderful city. Established in 1958, the PD has been providing such services to the citizens of local area's, being a cross-line force (meaning we operate in many states), it has only recently become part of our ability to reach out to the land of FearlessRP to help ensure what we promised above.
A police department, however, cannot function without the professionals really showing themselves on the forefront of fighting crime, within our four different divisions: Patrol | S.W.A.T | Investigations | Headquarters. Here we will briefly discuss them, as they are what you will come to join when becoming a member of the department. Upon joining, you can find out more information through our crucial guide that our team has provided, and long works alongside, the SRPD Handbook and Bylaws.

DIVISIONS

Patrol Division is our base, the very start for any officer officially joining the force. This is a place that an officer is going to find their feet, join a sub-division or chose to move to one of our other divisions found below. You will gain all of your basic training here, from shooting, to properly arresting a suspect.

S.W.A.T Division, once a sub-division, has made it's way to gain an official recognition due to its importance to the organisation. Officers here will specialise in tactical raiding, special weaponry, and a plether of other skills in order to support a successful PD out in the field. This divsion is the PD's last resort, so everyone here is required to be at their best all the time. When you're not responding, you're training.

Investigations Division, our covert side of the PD. Not everything is about giving someone a fine, or going in guns blazing. There is a lot of occasions where we are required to gain evidence in order to prosequte a suspect, which is where our investigastions division comes in, be it a covert operation to bring down a gang, to investigating an RTC, you'll always be coming up with our answers.

Headquarters Division, the bread and butter to our Department. In order for us to run smoothly, we need our HQ, from doing admin work, to press releases, to internally investigating officers, your plate is always going to be full. All of our legal operations take place in HQ, including being the home of our state attourney.
RECRUITMENT
Here at the SRPD, we are always recruiting, allowing every person the opportunity they deserve, however please note the roles we accept for may differ on the odd occasion in order to support meeting the demand of the people.
The recruitment process is split into 5 stages:
- Application process - Be reviewed by our recruitment / headquarters team (Potentially invited to individual interviews)
- Being accepted - You're invited to our official communications centre (Discord) and given the handbook to have a look through before the next stage
- Welcome meeting (sometimes in a group) - You may be asked questions regarding the handbook here. You may also ask questions here
- Meet your 'Buddy' - This is the offer who you'll be paired with for the time you're in training - You recieve weekly reviews which are added to your officer profile
- Get promoted - You'll become a fully fledge officer, able to patrol on their own. This is also your opportunity to show interest in the direction you'd like to go in within the department
The requirements of becoming an officer, as previously mentioned, are fairly lenient, which means that acceptions cannot be made to citizens aspiring to becoming an officer;
- At least 30 hours server playtime
- Be literate / be able to speak good English
- Be able to adapt to police views you may not agree with
- Demonstrate a mature and professional attitude where required (Not always expected as it's important to have a laugh)
