Donald Trump has to be of my top favorite businessmen and politician of all time. I have been idolizing him since i was a kid from watching his TV shows, staying in his hotels and playing in his golf course !

Trump himself never went bankrupt. But his businesses in which he had a huge stake in did. These were large, super-expensive caniso resorts which cost billions to build and millions to run. Those hotels went bankrupt during the recession in the 90's and one in 2009 when the gambling industry was hit.
