Wiping the inventory and that will only result in people leaving, they've been there and done that. They wont go farm contraband for hours on end, they'll leave the server.

If I was told my BMW along with my other shit worth millions and the thousands of hours I spent getting there would be wiped, I'd be fucking pissed and find a different server.

Ban wipe happened before and we got maybe 5-6 players who stuck around, rest came back and minged, no point going through that shit storm again. (I was staff for the wipe and it was horrid to manage).

Ban wipe is not going to do much. If people want to be unbanned they can write an unban request, many of the long ago bans have recently been lifted and people have been given another chance. Those who show interest and effort into trying to come back, will be able to come back.

The only reason why people currently active in the community support this, is to clean their record and have a clean slate.

A ban record is a record for a reason, it shows what someone has done wrong in the past so administration can decide on a more fitting punishment for a specific player. It should not be removed.

Answered truthfully and provided examples on how to improve. If there is a ban wipe, there needs to be a blacklist wipe aswell, otherwise it really doesn't serve a function to the people who are unbanned but have plenty of blacklists left from before the previous wipe.

You are wrong, rules change over the years. People have bans on their records for ridiculous reasons that no admin would ever ban for nowadays. ( E.x doubledooring )

A ban wipe does more than allow people to come back, it allows the reformed players to look better, with this people can install more trust into them and they are also more likely to go further on the server. This then brings out the better sides of people as they can now be taken seriously as they dont have all these bans and blacklists they got from being an immature young teen, so they can now be accepted and rewarded for who they have developed into.

There is a staff team for a reason, and they know that if someone minges they have the power to do something about it, its their job they should be happy to see the ban wipe to hopefully bring players.

I'm heavily against a ban wipe but i'd support people being allowed to make one UBR regardless of their ban which will be considered differently. From that UBR it can then be massively reduced or lifted depending on what they did. I do think people who want to be unbanned should go to the effort of making a UBR rather than just waiting for a magical ban wipe. The ban they have should also stay on record.

I still see no reason to have bans removed. If people wanted to have a clean slate they should've thought of that in the beginning. If a reason for a ban is ridicilous, a current ,good(!), admin won't take it into consideration at your next ban, right?
