Summary of the incident
I was rewarding someone for assisting me in a car chase, then a random person walks up behind me, punches me and runs to a vehicle.
I aimed my M4, along with my fellow officer at the vehicle and ordered the man to get out of the vehicle. I was clearly visible, audible and there was time to think. The accused decided to drive off anyway.
