Summary: I was talking to an undercover officer then a man approached me interupting my work/conversation i wanted to cuff him and give him a ticket then tommy came from behind trying to kill me with a knife when i had my taser out on the other person, tommy claimed it was his friend but i don't see the point of trying to kill 2 officers with a knife to free his friend when i was about to give his friend only a ticket.

The accused has infringed the rule in which regards to violence being the last option. If a friend is being arrested one should not attack in attempt to kill the Officer to stop his friend being attacked.
