I used to use Dxtory, but then Nvidia Shadowplay came out, which is free if you have a Nvidia GPU.

I use Shadowplay.
+ Easy to use Configurable to save the last X amount of minutes (between 1 and 10 I believe.) Status overlay which displays FPS as well as the status of your recording Organizes your recorded files by game instead of throwing them all into one folder - Large file size Alt+Z overlay can be annoying if accidentally activated Regards,
