Help with connecting to the server?

I've been experiencing a few problems connecting to the server. My first few problems have been resolved, but one problem remains... When I connect to this server, my game crashes almost immediately after it says, "Sending Client Info." Help would be greatly appreciated.

I know plenty of people getting this (myself included), apparently it kinda comes and goes. Deleting unnecessary Gmod files did make it appear a lot less frequently and after my last reinstall I haven't experienced it - seems to be corrupt file content.
