EvoCity Gambling Guild
Aims and objectives
Our aim is to provide the people of EvoCity with fun and fair games.
EvoCity Gambling Guild also offers independent casino owners a chance to become a guild member., which can bring many benefits to their casino as well as to improve and grow one of the city's newest industries. We aim to foster a culture of fairness, fun and responsibility when it comes to gambling in EvoCity.
Benefits of being a guild member
Guild members may discuss and share game designs between themselves, and may freely collaborate to open casinos that offer multiple games... casinos with only one type of game aren't really casinos now, are they?
Members can freely decide whether they wish to share or sell their designs and concepts;the guild will aim to protect the intellectual property of the designer.
The EvoCity Gambling Guild acts more like a repository of a pool of talent in gambling game design, where members can easily find other members who share their interest in the gambling industry.
Your casino will be able to state it is affiliated with the EvoCity Gambling Guild if all of the games pass the rigorous standards set by the guild AND you have at least associate membership; as brand awareness of our guild grows, this will become invaluable in attracting customers to your casino.
Benefits of playing in an EvoCity guild affiliated casino
Players will rest assured that guild affiliated casinos only offer the fairest games. Every effort has been expended to ensure that the games are random, and that players receive fair returns.
Terms and conditions of guild membership and casino-guild affiliation
To become affiliated with the EvoCity Gambling Guild, a casino must ensure that all games within their halls:
Types of members
The President is in charge of admissions to the guild, and will review all proposed game designs. The President will assist the Technical Directors.
The Vice President has the same tasks as the President.
The Technical Director of Engineering is in charge of reviewing game designs, the constraint choice and other factors that will influence the mechanics of the game; they will ensure that there is either an element of randomness or unpredictability for the game.
The Technical Director of Statistics & Probability is in charge of assessing the game's performance, to ensure that the returns offered are AT LEAST 0.75.
Senior members are guild members who have either a) Greatly contributed to the guild or b) Been an upstanding member of the guild for at least 3 weeks. They have the same responsibility as members, but their opinion may be held in higher regard.
Members are guild members who assist in reviewing other member's games; they must have a good reputation within the guild or face expulsion.
Associates are not full guild members, but they may seek guild affiliation for their casinos. They are not expected to help review other members's games but may do so if they wish.

Terms and conditions of guild membership and casino-guild affiliation
To become affiliated with the EvoCity Gambling Guild, a casino must ensure that all games within their halls:
- Have been peer tested, reviewed and accepted to be fair by AT LEAST the president AND one other member; as the guild grows, more member's approval will be required
- Offer returns of greater than 0.75 (the real life benchmark for legal gambling returns, for slot machines, is around 0.94-0.97)
- Be operated by a keypad with a set timer, to ensure that all 'spins' are fair and equal
- Only use construction constraints to operate (such as motor, muscle..). Games that require a physgun or the movebody tool will NOT be accepted by the guild
- Must incorporate a degree of randomness and/or chaotic evolution in time (easily predictable games are not in the casino owners or player's interest, as either party may become unfairly disadvantage against the other)
- Cooperate with the laws set by the current government, and obtain relevant licences if so necessary
