This thread will contain all news & announcements for the Fearless Radio and any help regarding applying for the radio or any other questions for it such as donations. Myself and Edned will be posting on this thread to allow the radio to be more up to date and to make sure all the listeners are aware of what the situation is with the radio!

Applying for Fearless Radio

We are recruiting new DJ's, experienced or not! Check below on how to apply!

Applying for Fearless Radio is very simple. All you need to do is go to this link: radio.fearlessrp.net.
Once you have visited that link, have a gander at the "apply" button on the top right. Once you have clicked this button, you will be asked a few questions for your application.
Submit your application when you are confident with your answers. It will be reviewed by myself and Edned and you should be given a letter of notification a few days later.
Remember, you can ask to retract your application at any time, just give the managers a heads up.

FAQ

Q. What happens after I get accepted or denied?

A. After you are accepted, you will be given the needed programs to do your trial stream. This will consist of going live for an hour. Playing requests and songs on the radio for listeners. You will be rated out of 70 in 7 different cetegories. You must get 30 to pass this section. You will learn about the categories before you do your trial stream.

Q. Do I have to go live every day if I pass my trial stream?

A. No, you do not have to go live every day. You will be asked to do at least 2 hours a week if you pass your trial stream and you can go live whenever you want. You can cancel your reservation at any time.

Donations

Our services don't run on fresh air. They are dependant on your donation. It costs $11 to run monthly. Therefore, we are spending $132 a year on the services. When donations come into the radio budget, we spend it on the radio licensing and the radio server. Both of these are essential for the radio to come to your browsers and your radios in game. The panel for the AutoDJ and other things for the radio is $7. Additionally, we have the server which costs $4 a month. Currently, we are very low and funds and require your help. Any donation is helpful, big or small. All money go towards the radio and will improve the radio in many ways. The radio DJ's and management don't benefit from the donations in any way. If you wish to donate, visit the website at radio.fearlessrp.net. Equally, you can contact myself or Edned personally and donate so that PayPal does not take a cut from your donation.

We have recently started a scheme to create adverts for clans within Fearless. We must be given £1 a month to advertise a clan for that month on the radio in between songs and intervals on the radio. It will come with a voice over and up to 20 seconds of a advertisement. If you are interested in doing this, contact myself or Edned.

£1 a month to advertise a clan that people can already view on the forums which will be viewed more than the radio is listened to?

Also, what happened to keeping things in character, it should cost in game money for an advertisement, as it's an ingame feature.

None of us are asking you to pay anything for the radio, you chose to pay money for it so now making players pay IRL money just to help keep it going sounds tacky.

Any chance I can apply to join fearless radio I would like to turn the radio channel to a porn sex line when it is past 10pm I think this would enhance the radio and bring the radio team very very closer, thanks

I really like the idea of that.

Would be really good if we could get an FL sex line going where we could call in and it would cost us 1k per min to speak to the host and the host would speak dirty to us.

I suggest taking up the "£1 in return for clan advertisement on FL services" with SoulRipper, or the SA's. As far as I am aware, that is in direct breach of the Terms of Service. Any transactions related to FL will only be done with IG Money - donations to the service and donations from users via IG money (selling donors) to the service is excluded. Trading games for donations or for items is for example not allowed.

Introducing ooc-money to an ic establishment, through the googles of past decisions regarding this type of scenario, is not allowed.
