Are you using Overclockers UK?

If your getting a 1060, get the 6 GB. You won't regret it.

Also, just one huge HDD? No no no Ono

You should have 1 at least 128GB SSD as your pimtary drive, and a 1 TB drive for your actual stuff. This is a lot more flexible and organised.

Budget? Can probably get better.

Will definitely recommend a bigger GPU and an SSD for your OS.

You will also need to make sure you have an external drive such as a memory stick in order for you to install your Operating System seeing as you won't have an optical drive.

My self-built PC just for reference:

Kind Regards,

Upgrade your CPU to i5. An i3 processor is equivalent to a school PC. Also make your GPU 4GB+ (6 if you can)!!

Don't bother with 16gb ram, I survive with 8. Like above, upgrade to an i5 and a 6gb 1060 and an SSD; you won't regret it.

If you're looking for some input on which parts to buy, a budget would be nice.

Also, in terms of building the PC itself, it's easy. Just watch a few videos on YouTube; I built mine in approx 2h from scratch by myself.
