[Solved] [Unoffical]Music through mic ||Alternative|| Realtek Software and Creative Soundcards
#1
So, you want to play some really bad song around town? You've come to the right place! This tutorial is for Creative sound cards and alternatively, Realtek software.

FOR CREATIVE SOUND CARDS:

Step 1) Do you have the creative drivers?
If not, download them from their website or from the disc that's generally provided with a creative product.

Step 2) Go to the system tray ( I'll make images later ) and right click the sound option

Step 3) Once you've done that, click Recording Devices

Step 4) Scroll down till you find the Creative option for 'What U Hear' and set it as default

Step 5) Open GMOD and adjust mic volumes accordingly if needed

Step 6) In the Garry's mod console, type +voicerecord . This will make your audio stream to your mic until you next press the voice record button for GMOD.

Step 7) Get some tunes in and enjoy!

( Please abide by server rules )

METHOD 2 --=-- REALTEK

Step 1) Download the Realtek Audio Mixer / Software.

Step 2) Open system tray, right click sound and press recording devices

Step 3) Click Sound  Mix and set as default

Step 4) Open GMOD

Step 5) Adjust mic setting as you please

Step 6)  Put +voicerecord into the console

Step 7) Start playing music on your computer

( Abide by the rules! )

Didn't work? Try GamingOfficalZZ's alternative method!

Im pretty sure making a guide to mic spam isn't the best idea bud.

Cool guide, quite helpful. Might be best not to mention mic spam as Rat said, maybe just let people know they can play music via their microphone instead Tounge

Looks like a good alternative! Should be moved to Useful docs.

This has already been made a thread about years ago. It should be in useful docs.

No need to fill it with duplicate threads

Link?

Sorry Joulle, nothing like that in useful docs

Mine and gamings aren't duplicates as they both present alternate methods

I was talking about this but you're right, you're using another method
