Removal of Clan Claims

Well I do not approve, this has been part of clans since they began, I personally do not like the way clans are going, the whole point of a clan is not to pretend to make electricity.

YOU don't like the way clans are going cause you are trying to horde a very efficient way to make money for players, just so you can protect your damn monopoly. You tell me how that is fair while we are trying to have a good time on the server and RP how ever the f*** we want to while you are too busy playing Skyrim, APB or some shit. Maybe if you want to protect something so dear to you, play on the server more and stop shutting people that are affected by your claims down over the forums. It is obvious that mostly everyone is against you on this, and you have nothing to back yourself up on this.



There was my rant, it had to be said. What do you even have to say? Please enlighten all of us on how it is fair that your constantly changing clans are allowed to claim the exact same shit over and over again while we can't do anything. But that is another rant for another time.

This raging is unacceptable Elder, we are going to have some problems, I come on the server every day thank you very much, you should also learn to respect people higher than you, tread carefully Elder, i'm sure there is lots of people who would like to take your place.

Dryblood, just because you are an admin, it doesn't make YOU in charge of what goes or does not go through via suggestions. You can't promise squat.

Allow me to ask for a bit of enlightenment on some of your arguments:

In other words, I believe you're referring to more "passive" clans, with less to do with guns? From the attitude reflected in your post, and the types of words used, I'd imagine that you prefer "action involving firearms".

However, because one man cannot "define" the "point" of a clan, or to be precise, a group of people as a standard to everyone, I have to ask:

Is gathering up a mob, arming them and terrorising those who aren't a part of said group the purpose of "clans"? For some, it may be so.

However, this "crusade" of seeking power and control, will negatively affect anyone who happens to be caught up in it. In the end, what will "total control" net the clan? "Safety" to RP? Unhindered making of cash? Or the feeling that you're on top of the foodchain, where everyone is below you?

You can claim you have rights for this and that, and we don't.

What makes you think that? Because the bad people will force me to my place if I don't comply? The way I remember it, every man is born equal and has a right to practice business as they see fit.

Can I therefore get your definition of a clan's purpose?

-"This has been part of clans since they began". True. A group of people has always sought dominance over others, ever since the early days of mankind. Be it through finances, military, politics or something else.

Why is that? Because we are scared. Scared for our own lives and well-being, and lack the trust to other people. It would be Utopian to think we're past that fear. Even in CityRP, this cannot be achieved. Hell, it's not even the purpose.

Call me a socialist, but if these claims are removed, clans will have less reason for "war". Of course, if war against another group is what a random person is looking for, may I suggest they find a clan in another game more revolved around the idea of filling your opponents with lead, rather than a sandbox game and particularly the Fearless Server, revolving around building and "pretending" to be something they are not while they "pretend to make electricity".

That's all I've got to say for now. I'll look forward to hearing your response.

I'd hardly say you was stating your point, you started off closeing the topic, not excactly the right message to send.

I kinda agree with elder. The so called "clan claims" are just a very greedy way to get money fast, without anyone standing in you way. I understand that it is cool to have, but not fair against other players of FL.
Clan claims always end out in a clan wars, it's just a very simple fact, and because we are moving towards more passiveRP, I think it should be forbidden.

Suggestion Approved, clan can no longer make any forms of claims, all clans must remove any claim for anything at all.

With this a new clan update:

I am taking full control over Clan declaration of Official/Unofficial (I did most of it anyway).
I am also updating the clan Official page making it more challenging, I will also be strict with clans which are inactive/failing.
