Basically this used to be a thing on some old serious RP server forums, where they had text RP on the forum, At first people posted their characters and their stories. Thread OP (Who would also be a host of RP) had to approve said characters, so they would be realistic, then Host make think of universe and lore of RP, and organise events in which people interact via text, and Host work as a "God" creating different events for players.

Yea, it probably sounds crap now, but it was quite interesting
