A wealthy man is found dead in his house by the newspaper deliveryman at Thursday.The wealthy man has Monday's newspaper,his wallet and a bloddy knife with his fingerprints near him.Police arrests the deliveryman.
How did the police know the deliveryman was the murderer?

Because there was no newpaper from Tuesday or Wednesday as the Delivery man knew there would be no-one there to read it. I've seen this one before.
