Dear Community Member, Sorry not sorry.

Dear Community Member,

I just wanted to take some time to point out a few things about this community that I have learned over my years here.  This isn't really a how to, but this will definitely give you some insight as to why I really just don't want to get to know you, nor do I care how you feel about it.

Lets start with Passive RP players vs Aggressive RP players.  I used to be a pro-passive guy, we all make mistakes.  To be crystal clear, when you complain about the other side, you are complaining about nothing except yourself.

To the passives: Stop complaining about gunshots, criminal activity, how their roleplay is generic.  When you /request for an officer, 9/10 times it's the same style of player you hate, coming to your rescue, even though you think he's a subpar player.  Without him, you have no one to sell to, as the economy is largely arms and combat equipment.

To the aggressives: Stop going out of your way to be a jerk to the passives.  I'm not saying don't "do you", but generally when a passive cries (and boy can they cry), you guys generally go out of your way just to make them cry more.  Though this is hilarious, this also has led to the loss of some pretty cool things we used to have and be able to do.  It also directly hinders your chances of getting any updates.  Not saying do crim to the max, just saying don't make it personal where it doesn't need to be.

Suggestion Posters (yes, even some of the staff are getting called out):  Read.  Re-read.  Do it as many times as you have to till you actually know and understand what the poster is talking about.  Read the rules for replies too.  If you had, you'd note that -supports are generally supposed to come along with some level of feedback, a reasoning.  If you haven't figured life out, here's a tip for ya.  You cannot grow without feedback.  If you were in school and the teacher only offered you one sided instruction, graded your work, but never told you why you were wrong, you'd never improve.  Every time you go in there and just -support without providing feedback, your vote shouldn't even be counted, hell, you should receive a warning for failing to follow rules for that sub forum and your post should just be removed.  If you can't be bothered to offer an explaination, then why should anyone be bothered to even recognize your post. Oh wait, they removed the requirement for reason to a -support because too many people couldn't follow it. How sad. Seriously.

Discussion Posters:  Discussion means to talk about, debate, provide feedback to reach a mutual resolution or goal.  Discussion does not mean: I want to cry about so and so (I'm guilty), I don't like so and so but I don't want to hear anything I don't like, I want to post a gibberish message without even reading or attempting to research the topic if I know nothing about it.  Take that crap to this forum, the off topic forum, where it's intended, so that normal people don't have to read about your drama.  You give one flip about my personal drama?  How much my bills are?  How my neighbor pissed me off?  No?  I don't care that Ryan! robbed you, murdered you, made memes about it, then trolled you.  Really, I don't.  When I want to see things that don't matter just to blow time, I come here, to off topic, land of the trolls.  Stop making yourself look stupid, show a little decency, and follow the guidelines.  Seriously, because the real people who don't care tend to spam gay porn, it's not polite, but at least they aren't closet minges.

Vengeful Anti-Staff People:  Have you ever stopped to consider that if you don't like it, the door is right there?  Stop spewing the crusades (Many including myself have tried) because the fact is, they don't work.  Do you own the server?  Do you think a company owns the server?  Do you think you really have any right to say anything about how this place runs?  Unless you are paying out of pocket, for the actual bill (not donations, hold your tongues, you are next), it's none of your business, like a good side joint, stay in your lane.  Seriously, what if someone started telling you what to do and how to do it with something you personally paid or still pay for?  You do whatever they say?  If so, do what I say and jump off a cliff or otherwise off yourself, you are a sheeple, you have no future beyond slavery.  More realistically, you'd tell them to go eff themselves, rant about how it's yours, and the have no say in the matter.  Treat this place exactly like that, except directed at you, because you are that annoying guy doing it.

Donators:  Donations are given.  They aren't payments.  You aren't paying for anything you receive from your donation.  What is really, legally going on is you are giving the community owner (SoulRipper) your money.  He then CHOOSES to show his thanks by GIVING you things in return.  It's all clear in the ToS, but lets be honest, most of you haven't ever taken the time to read it.  Hell, I already had to rant about how a good number of you, including staff, can't be constructive in one subforum, how could I expect you to read the ToS, even with it's pretty link at the toolbar on the top of every page on this forum.  I mean, they must have hid it from you, or maybe it doesn't apply to you, right?  Ignorance of the law is not a defense.  That stands in every courtroom in the USA.  It's a hard fact, but a true one.  Educate yourself.

Pro-Staff fanboys:  First off, let me start by saying that even before I stopped caring, I still hated you.  You remind me of the kind of person who follows everything Kim K is doing, or the people who read whatever Opera told them to, or any other similar kind of person whom blindly supports and defends anyone or anything without actually having a reason other than to praise them.  When I see people following the admin, clammering to build some epic passive rp to mooch for RP points, trying to play brown nose goody two shoes and snitching, it makes want to go out of my way to ruin your experience, in and out of game.  No one likes a snitch, no one likes the teacher's pet, no one likes a beggar that isn't in need.  Stop it, have some respect for yourself.  If you were worthy of having RP Points, of making staff, of having friends, you'd already have it.  If you don't roleplay seriously unless staff is there, you aren't a good roleplayer, you're a flake, netting you less respect than that of the minges, because like I said before, at least they don't hide who they are.

Ban Watch Nazis:  Yeah, you know who you are.  If all you want to do is come on the server to record others playing and making mistakes, you should probably log off the server and make space for someone who actually wants to play.  You aren't staff, and just so you know, the people who post a crapton of ban requests to flex their knowledge of the rules, typically aren't offered staff positions because you aren't actually showing that you have what it takes, you are just showing you know how to be an anal retentive person.  Part of being staff is knowing the rules in and out, but the other more critical part is what you do generally.  Staff selects based on Roleplay ability, rule knowledge, general behavior, social behavior, forum behavior.  If you want to be staff, it's really easy.  Follow my simple play book.  1: Don't break rules 2: Don't break rules (yeah, if you had to read this, I had to say it twice, because obviously you need it) 3: Be a decent person in OOC chats.  4: Try to help instead of screaming about how they broke the rules 5: Play the damn game.  If you do all those things, your chances of being staff are at their absolute highest.  Making staff friends doesn't hurt, but going out of your way to collect those without pre-establishing your personal identity, is more likely to both lower your chances of making staff and the real people will label you an A-Licker.  Let me tell you, most people who label others as A-Lickers, tend to also go out of their way to make A-lickers life hell.

New People:  Generally, yall get clingy, try to do what I do, mess it up, then try to say I taught you that.  Then I have to play word games with a staff member who thinks he's got some upperhand, and it's just a time consuming on my part.  Or like the more recent case, I show them some cool things in the wee hours , then they go on a crusade to get those things removed, because they are afraid of potentials.  This bracket of players, as they reach the first 100 hours, tend to think they know something, but really they don't.  This bracket also tends to use stupid expressions like "You aren't staff" "You aren't staff anymore" "I know the rules" "My admin friend will ban you" and honestly, if that's how you react to someone trying to keep you from getting into trouble, by all means, go get in trouble.  Weed yourself out so the passives can stop crying about you throwing lead through their windows.  Does rest of us the favor.

Old People:  Well most of us know one another, generally yall know why you don't like me and I know why I didn't like you.  Things have changed, be like Frozen and let it go.  Besides, most of yall are either boasting about how you have nothing left to do or are looking for new players that aren't going to be gone next month.  Special shout out to Ryan! I hated you the most, but after a few months of Dark RP, I think I understand your people.  I don't waste my time protecting stupid people from you types anymore, too much effort, too much lost time.

Staff: Oh man oh man.  Do your job.  If you already do your job, carry on.  If you know one who doesn't, fix it.  It makes the members cry and throw fits, it's annoying.  Don't abuse your position either.  Anyone who knows anything knows that your special powers only translate to this one community.  You aren't any more or less special than the rest of the minges you police up all day long.  You are simply tasked with trying to make sure the game is playable and keep some idea of order.  Seriously though, about the do your job part.  It's very annoying when all online staff members are on one server, because they are all part of the same lil crew, while the other servers go unwatched.  We used to try to spread our team out a little, or during events had a set order for who is on standby.  Your first mission here is to safeguard the servers, your second mission here is to enhance the experience, nothing more annoying when an admin refuses to respond to @'s because he's "In a roleplay."  During my stint as an admin, "I can't keep track of how many hours I spent doing calls while I was roleplaying."  If you really don't want to do the job at that time, go undercover, so that people don't see you do it.  Every time it's noticed, you look like a scumbag to those in need, because they needed you and you let them down.

Developers: Hopefully I get on that team soon.  I'd love to take the flak down off yall.  I'm not exactly sure why, but there are issues with this game that have existed since I joined and they still aren't fixed.  It's hard to decide where blame falls when yall aren't transparent with the community in terms of why or why not, or what is going on.

Super Admins/Owner: Funny enough, I have no complaints about this department.  Soul can do whatever and will.  The rest of the SAs seem productive.

Did I miss you?  Let me know and I'd be more than happy to express myself.  Just kidding, I probably won't bother reading whatever comment you leave, because honestly, I don't care.  This post is in the off topic thread.  If I offended you, change your ways, because I won't lie to spare your feelings.

I feel better.  I love you, off topic forum.

P.S. I almost forgot.
Minge Predictors: Yeah, you know, those people who try to impose hour limits or down vote content because they believe that either action actually does any good against minges. You have flawed logic. Anyone, of any amount of hours, can be a minge. Zapppp (Fleet Admiral Zappington), Fultz (Fultzy), Theomenz, and several others were all former staff, high hour players here, who all went on minge sprees. Between the 3, you are talking in the mid to high thousand hour range combined, each in the 3 to 4 digit range last I saw them years ago. All went full minge at least once. Tell me again how a 5 hour limitation, or not adding content, stopped them from doing it. The hard truth you have to learn to accept is simple. Anyone can minge, at any time, for any reason, and no rules, no restrictions short of no content, can stop them. Instead of punishing everyone else by hindering progress, rest easy that minges will still get what's coming to them, regardless if which tool, object, method they choose to ruin the experience for others. It's not always the first, not always the second, but trust me, it always catches up. Do us legitimate players a favor and stop ruining our day, over your needless fear of what you don't understand. Minges aren't complicated, they are either doing it for laughs, or because someone pissed them off. It's pretty rare to find one outside of either of those situations. Get over your fear, I shouldn't be punished because minges scare you. What's he gonna do, run me over, crash the server, oh noez.... I can respawn and the server can reboot, the minge can't rejoin normally once he is banned.

People from other communities: Honestly, no one here gives one crap about where you come from or how they do it. We are here because this is ours, for better or for worse. No community should go to another one, to troll and advertise, or even to boast. First of all, you are playing Garry's Mod, one of the nerdiest games out there, and are equally the loser you claim others to be. Secondly, who cares. It's Garry's Mod, not real life. Grow up.

Minges: Continue eating bags of dicks. No one cares about you. Kill yourself.

About God damn time someone wrote a "criticising" thread on how to improve, rather than talking trash and not really saying anything worth my time to read.

I'd say it's an overall improvement to my old approach of just cussing everyone out. Take what I say with a grain of salt, but jokes and offenses aside, I'm not wrong.

I heavily disagree with SA/owner and a bit about the Donators tbh.
Honestly as you might've figured out already there's alot I have to say regarding Fearless, just like you.
Perhaps we could add eachother on steam and we can enlighten eachother sometimes.
