Garry's Mod Suddenly Shutting Down
#1
Whenever I play Garry's Mod, Every now and then it will just close without any error messages or whatever. It will simply close without any warning.
This is also the reason I quit 2 years ago, It does it every 15 minutes add or take.
Ive googled it, No solutions around. It usually happens whenever a car explodes.

The game is unplayable for me, I wish i knew how to fix it.
If you know please let me know ^^

Try verifying your game cache.

To do so, go to steam then right click Garrys mod then properties then Local files and click Verify game cache.

If this doesn't work, try disabling all of your add-ons and enable the ones you need for Fearless.

If that doesn't work either then either make sure you have all fearless content or disable try downloading of custom content in Options -> Multiplayer and if nothing worked, try reinstalling Garrys mod

Already tried those, Thanks for the reply though.

This happened to me with  my old graphics card, you can either buy a new upgraded graphics card or make sure you have all the required drivers for it.  I'm sure there's an easier way, but I fixed it with my new upgraded computer.

It might be your CPU as well, if you have 2 cores, then it will be heavy on your computer, but I have six cores so it can't be that.  But still can be.  And make sure you have the drivers for EVERYTHING in your computer.

Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to be rude, I just felt like I had to correct you.

Does it say hl2.exe has stopped working out of curiousity? Cause honestly, Arny is right. Your graphics card has got to have more than 512 MB of data on it. This happened to me when I had a Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT, I later upgraded to a Nvidia GTX 560 ti EVGA and it was fine. I now currently have a Nvidia GTX 750 ti EVGA and I haven't crashed since my GeForce 8800 GT.
