"And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing...
but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun(the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)"

This part in particulair is very poorly explained. They (the quoted site) claim that it is regarding an offensive war against his (mohammeds) adversaries, and thus inciting violence, but it couldnt be further from the truth. Mohammed had been chased down by people who wanted to see him dead and this was the first time that the tables were turned and Mohammed could strike at his enemies, hence the violent language.

You are "sure" it is 100% bullshit? This one verse out of 109 verses you found is grounds for you calling it 100% bullshit?
It's not very hard to make Islam look like an aggressive religion when there's 109 verses of violence in it.

Here you also find a quote and then you explain it, well done. This definitely shows that all the other 108 quotes are bullshit and are not violent when taken in context.
It also states in this verse to "fight them until there is no more Fitnah and worship is for Allah alone.
So really the war is against everyone who chased down Mohammed to see him dead + everyone who does not believe in Allah or have another belief.

Does that mean that all christians want to kill someone who took a life himself? Ofcourse not. A few violent paragraphs written in the religions holy book doesnt make that religion violent, the actions of its followers does however.
"A few" violent paragraphs written in a religious book makes the religion violent.
It is not the extremists that make the book violent, the book is already violent. The book makes the extremists violent.
Remember people actually believe these things to the fullest.

Terrorists claiming they act in the name of Allah are either lying or deluded because it has nothing to do with religion. I understand that people want to hold the Islam responsible for all the terrorist attacks, but in my eyes thats not fair for the people who do actually believe in Allah peacefully.
No it is not bullcrap. The books gets followed by extremists.
The extremists are the ones responsible for the terrorist attacks. The Quran influences them.
You cannot support the Quran by saying it is not fair to the people who follow it peacefully. It is still the Quran that influences the terrorist attacks.
People who are completely brainwashed and do not have common sense believes what it says.

Why should it matter to the people who believe in Allah peacefully? It is already established it is the extremists who follow the Quran literally. Everyone else has the common sense not to follow the book by the word.
However the people who follow it peacefully still need to acknowledge that the book they are partially following is a big source for violence and terrorist attacks.
