I remain with the points I stated that I was never in danger, from MY perspective. Thank you gogson8 for supporting my case.

Avgar - You mention that I ran through the line of fire but this is a false claim as the man ran into an apartment to hide and Officers along with SWAT had not pushed into the hallway at the time of my crossing. There was no possibility of shots being exchanged at that point.

I was safe from my perspective along with the fact that I was never injured/killed from this incident as well as the testimony offered from this person that supports that I wasn't in direct danger of being killed and that there were many others crowded around watching this unfold.

You assumed that the criminal won't just pop back out from the room. Plus you ran alongside the corridor so you were visible from inside the room that the criminal was in.

Crowding around and watching is one thing. As a citizen, positioning yourself to 'get a better shot' by putting yourself in more danger is simply not allowed by the rules.

If you felt like you were doing everything correctly, why did you suddenly change your job when I brought you to the roof?

Firstly, changing my job title was not done as soon as I was brought up. It was done as we were about a minute into the conversation around the part where you began to surround the basis for bringing me up the rooftop simply because I failed to change my job title to something other than Citizen and I apologized and made that correction on the spot. The question arises around if I was really required to assign myself a custom job title at the time I was doing my role-play. I see no difference in how the rules differ from Citizen and a citizen who is catching an event unfold on camera. Job specific titles are used to accurately describe your character when it is truly needed, such as but not limited to assigning the title "Criminal" in order for you to be able to burglarize a home. When a Citizen hears someone breaking into their home, are they violating rule 2.1e by deciding to stand up against said criminal rather than calling the police? There are many different ways to look at it and I believe you could ultimately argue the point that being in a life-threatening (direct) situation is a violation of 2.1e regardless of the class you are. Your current standing on the rule makes it seem as though Citizens are the main point of focus when really it could apply to Chefs, Doctors and many other classes.

The thing I wish to focus on is this:

[FL] Avgar (STEAM_0:0:19437228) said: .//Which means you did break the rule, because of your mistake.

My mistake, which so happens to revolve around my job title alone in your perspective is something I am simply arguing is not important because I did not violate rule 2.1e as I was never in a position of danger from MY perspective. If you wish to contest this, I simply ask you to review the logs that can confirm that I was never injured/killed along with the testimony of someone directly involved in the event who also supports my case that I was completely safe at the time. It is key to understand that I am seeing things form a first-person perspective and cannot always account for everything. You seem to be stuck on the basis that I was in danger from your perspective being able to see the situation from all angles. I saw everything to be clear on my end and saw the criminal run and hide in a room. I was never in the direct location of the raid as I was never in the hallway when the criminal was there and I was never in the room where the criminal had been. Running down the hallway presented about the same risk as jaywalking across the street, yet I don't see you going around banning people for that. It is something to be handled IC'ly imo unless it is blatant that I am in violation of the rule such as running into the line of fire or placing myself in a situation where I am at a high risk of being injured/killed and I stand firm that I was not.

Yes, you did not get injured or killed, but that was only because you were lucky. You were putting yourself in harms way enough to require a custom job, having 'citizen' simply does not cut it when you want to take footage of a raid. Especially if you end up re-positioning yourself to get a better shot of the ongoing raid, carelessly crossing the line of fire that was broken for just several seconds, carelessly positioning yourself into a tight situation in which you could be injured at any moment.

Unban request denied.
