I was banned despite i didnt break a rule (In my opinion)

Reason: Taking ammo from the ground during a transaction.

Involved: A gun dealer which name i do not remember.

Why we should unban you: well, this is how it went down, i went to the Drug dealer to sell my weed, when i came there there was a gun dealer in the corner and a shipment of rifle ammo laying on the floor, since i had "thug" as job description i figured why not take this, the gun dealer was all by himself, so i "robbed" him, ran out, ran back just to find another shipment on the floor, i took it aswell, he kept saying "dont worry one more", "dont worry one more", it was a bit akward but i was still like what the heck? free ammo. finally i asked him why are u dropping this?, and he didnt answer i, i knew he only had 9k of cash cause i talked to him earlier asking if he wanted to buy my GOLF MKII, i thought he would just spawn this for some lucky guy and quit the server or something, given the situation he was standing there all by himself in the alley. so... i went on rping after that i was driving my mercedes when suddenly i was Tped to Tomo, he said that i broke the rules and that i was gonna get punished for this, by then i havent had a chance to explain anything yet. then [FL:M] Hitman appeared, in the beginning Hitman wouldnt let me talk and just kept talking in my mouth saying he wouldnt argue with me about that and that i should shut up, implying that explaning your case makes no sense. but... im a talker .. i talk alot so then by then i explained it by bits and the Admin understood it bit by bit aswell. also they became friendly and nice atlast, it was delightfull to see the admins acting proffesional and not personal at last, also Tomo told me he saw it a bit from my point of view. but i think that Mod's have to do it not matter their personal opinion. so i was banned 1 day. - this kinda ruins my night since im free for work tommorow and i wanted to celebrate by gaming Rp all nite, in this occasion i donated for some extra fun ingame, now its all ruined cause of this stupid mistake which i think could be lead of with a warning since there was no way in hell i could have known this was a transaction.

i hope for a unban not only cause i wanna play all nite , also because i dont want this stupid ban on my record.

Hi Gonze,

Here is a quick statement to put this situation into context.
I got a call from Professor. PR0N yesterday saying that a gun dealer had scammed him of 50 rifle ammo. I bring him to the roof and search the logs to see whom he paid the $15,000 to. I find that the gun dealer is called Kano so I bring him to the roof too. When I questioned the gun dealer, he was very confused and said that he did not intentionally scam. The gun dealer was about to start giving him all the ammo when the server crashed.

When the server restarted, the gun dealer Kano had not rejoined, so I brought PR0N again and said I would check if anyone had picked up the ammo. This is when I saw this in the logs:

This is where Gonze came in. I saw in the logs that he had picked up 40 rifle ammo which Kano had dropped on the ground.

I bring Gonze to the roof and Professor. PR0N explains how he had told the gun dealer(Kano) to hold onto the ammo while he went to do something else as it was quite a large order. This is when Gonze apparently saw the ammo on the ground with only the gun dealer in the vicinity. Over the space of 3/4 minutes, a total of 40 rifle ammo was picked up by Gonze which Kano had been placing on the ground for PR0N.

This, in my mind, is in violation of rule 1.6:
- 1.6 Scamming is not allowed. Also, do not steal items which other players have dropped to carry out a transaction.

This kind of violation can often be worth a lengthy ban but I understood that from his point of view, there was not an obvious "transaction" occurring, which is why I left his ban to a day rather than getting it extended.

Gonze refunded Professor. PR0N with all of the ammo which was meant to be for him.

I stated it in-game and I stand by my decision that this ban is fair and should remain.

though i still think the ban was unfair. but i served 16 Hours of ban now? i would like you Tomo to atleast reconsider removing my ban now so i may still have some game time this noon.

- Also as there was no transaction going on at that point when i robbed him i did actually not break any rule. since there was no physical transaction going on at that point.

that is exactly why i think the ban was to harsh and could have been lead of with a warning,
i mean fair enough if i did it intentionally and actually interrupted a trade . but i did nothing like that.

Denied. You should know better then to pick up items that someone is spawning if they are standing right there by them. Whether it was an active purchase or not it is still minge grabbing/scamming and is not allowed at all.
