PC Part List choice

So I am currently saving to buy myself a computer, this computer should be able to run game

on high or maximum settings, I am looking obviously play Garry's Mod and other games such as Grand Theft Auto, CS:GO and many more!
I would like the community's opinion on my choice of parts and if there are any changes I can make

so that I can save myself some money.
I am on a budget of £1,000 -£1,300
With my build I am looking at £1,036.76 without the monitors and
then I am looking at £1,297.52 with the monitors.

Asus VN247H 23.6-inch Widescreen LED Multimedia Monitor
will be buying two since I will be having a two monitor set-up

Dam, you got the same setup as my brother, he can run GTA 5 on high settings around 40-50 fps.
Tbh, I dont know shit about PC components, but i'd say go with this if you got the money. (Your build, however, is a lot of money, since I dont know Euro, I converted it in USD, with monitors, it'll be about $1500.) Anyways, go with what you think is right. I'd say its good. If you dont wanna spend too much remove the extra harddrive, if you really want the monitors. Again dont know shit about PC parts, but eh, its just a suggestion.

The 980 is the right choice, I can tell you that

I have the 960 and it runs all game extremely well on high and above.

Seems like solid choices on that list. Like Adam James said, only get the SSD if you can afford it, because it's really only going to have the OS and a few games on it anyway.

It may be worth getting a bigger HDD depending on how much space you currently use now.

If you also want to save a bit extra, you can downgrade your graphics card to a 2GB one which should handle most games on medium to high settings.

Other than that, make sure the Power Supply is big enough to handle all of the components power usage and think about buying some optional, but usually worthwhile extras, such as a power surge cable to protect your PC and cleaning equipment to keep it free from dust.

Or get a hybrid SSHD. You can get a 2TB one for about 70-100 on Amazon.

I only want the SSD for Windows and a few games.
Since I will most likely be buying this before Christmas, I will be using my money I get to buy another SSD.
£20 Seems great to get 2TB Hard Driver. I am going to look into it Smile

Many people say that the 980 is overkill yet it will run games on max settings and it has 4GB.

Can I recommend not loading OS and games onto the SSD. You're best to load one or the other for speeds sake

Honestly, don't start picking parts until you have the money ready. Prices change all the time and new deals will pop up. The PC I built in January can now be built for £100-£200 cheaper.

I doubt you will be looking at the same components by the time you want to start purchasing some.
