Involved: The entire SWAT team, Police Force, presidential security team and 'Admin Mafia' at the time.
Why we should unban you: The hostage was released, as negotiated in the nexus lobby. The hostage was to be released once the 'admin mafia' reached the nexus lobby. So, we waited outside the city tunnel for them. They were then shot dead as they tried to escape, and banned me as I can only imagine out of spite. I'd also like to know why General Rickets has decided to give me an 18 day ban, when the other - shall we say - "offenders" only received 24hrs.

You issued the orders on the full force to shoot on a black van and a volvo one of which contained the hostage. You had no idea or proof that the hostage was anywhere or safe yet you, with your mass amounts of hours, decided to spray into both cars which would have killed both me and the hostage. It was a huge FearRP break. The ban was extended due to the fact that you gave the actual orders to shoot the car and you got others punished through your wreck less interpretation of the rules.

I was acting as the Sergeant at the time. You were banned for firing on vehicles with 5+ gunmen who have already fired on government officials. If they suddenly decided to change their mind about when the hostage was released, they must've knew about our plan - it's the only reasonable explanation. How would they know about our plan other than through checking the console and use of /radio?

We knew of your plan due to someone PMing me from outside the window. We also did not know of where the ambush would be held. We were never releasing the hostage until we were at the house. I was actually goign to award RPP for the RP that went on until this happened.

Oh, I beg to differ.
The negotiations had already been arranged between Soviethooves and Blackout in the nexus lobby, that you would be granted free access out of the city in exchange for the hostage INSIDE THE NEXUS LOBBY.
Now, if you check the logs, you'll also see no police>SWAT communication that the hostage was still in captivity. If you took the time through your spiteful decision, you'd realise that 'FearRP' no longer applied strictly by rule, as shots were fired in the Nexus lobby post to the hostage being held captive. As shots were fired after this point, FearRP was - by rule - off.
All co-operation with FearRP was from the downright good nature of the excellent RPers you've managed to ban, and they and I didn't even purposefully breach the FearRP that was only held together by our own willingness to RP realistically, not by the FearRP/Shots Fired rule.

Post evidence of the Private message, please. I feel that if you were truly warned ICly, you would have surely warned the government ICly too. To avoid any conflict, unless you were looking to ban someone?
With regards to RPP, I couldn't care less. I don't think any of those outstanding RPers roleplay for 'points'.

Those are the logs from the time you barged out of the elevator firstly breaking fearrp with the other officers whom died due to the breaking of it.

We were not told that the hostage was to stay in the lobby but that we were going to our house in where he will be released.

FearRP technically did apply due to the fact that the only reason it was off in the first place was because you broke it when you barged out of the elevator shooting us.
