Need Help With PC

Alright, so I own a 
[ltr]HP Pavilion - 17t Windows 7 Laptop (virus free)[/ltr]


It started making a HELL lot of noise, I believe it was it's fans, but when I checked it, nothing, the fan is completely clean.


It has been like this since the last 3 days.


If you can think of a solution, please help me.

Does that fan have a quiet mode? Also, some things you set a laptop on will heat it more, thus making the fan work more. My laptop fan is louder on my bed than on my desk.

I don't think I do, I am not really familiar with PC's since I was a Mac user for a long time.

So, Is dust collecting up within the fan? If so, Regularly clean it.
