Building a new pc.
#1
Just so people know I have finally gathered enough money to start building a pc. This will mean there may be a time during the holidays when I am inactive (not long enough to post a goodbye thread) the main reason I am posting this however is to ask if people have any tips or things that may help. I have built PCs before however never PCs for personal use.

Good luck, a tip I'd give you is to not bottleneck your PC. (Amazing GPU with a shitty CPU, vice versa.)

Don't worry I'm not planning too, my current laptop (or as I call it my potato) suffers from that (i5 but only integrated graphics)

The main tips I can think of are:

Buy a anti-static wristband.
Make a sure that you are careful when handling and installing the CPU
Tidy your cables

There's not much else as building a PC pretty easy nowadays. Good luck.

Also, don't get a Radeon... They're not noice, look into a GeForce GTX 700+ far better for money and for quality. Ideally get a GTX 770, 780, 970.

Really?

I typed it on my phone so don't expect the grammar to be spot on.
