I'm looking to either buy or build a Desktop and I would like to know what to get before huge sales start after christmas, I have a budget going anywhere up to £370, I Can push to £400 But I would prefer not to as I would like to buy games.

I'd say use http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/, select the parts you wish and they'll send them out and make sure they'll work together, and you can chose if they build it or you!
Kind Regards,
Wood.

If you really really want I can be a nice person and design a build for you in parts to build yourself, just follow a tutorial. Although to be honest of you're an honest noob just shop around. Believe it or not my first build I bought of eBay and it was a cracking bit of kit. If you're going for budget, go for an amd based build. They're good and good value.
