During the early 20th century, a small organized Crime group emerged in east New York City. Whilst the first world war was going on, the US had the most food, meaning other contries had to ration for their survival. The crime group took advantage of this situation by making classified deals with countries from around Europe. The deals were very simple but well thought idea's which were trading rations of food for arms and vehicles. European countries were so short on rations, they had no choice. Luckily for the crime group they were never caught performing these deals. Mainly the deals took place on US soil. There was a risk for the European countries. If they were to lose the rations for one reason or another they would not be refunded, therefore they would have to repeat the deal done between them and the crime group, meaning the group would benefit from this.
During the 1920's the organized crime group decided to give themselves a name, they were known as 'The Syndicate'. 'The Syndicate' was run by a man named Andrew Roberts whom orignally was from Britian. Andrew or Andy as his friends called him, was a powerful and very dictator like person in New York. Many were afraid of him even the NYPD didn't dare cross him. Andy was a wealthy man living in the bigest and most isolated house in New York. 'The Syndicate' had no business income when the war ended, meaning to stay at the top of the game they needed to try something new. Kane Thompson was the right hand to Andy and he made a significant move which would change the Syndicate for years to come...
In the early history of the Syndicate the new business was to sell the huge amount of weapons they had recived from deals during the war to the Sicilian Mafia and the Chicago Crime Family, to make money. This earned the Syndicate a great reputation within Chicago and New York itself. In late October 1929 another significant fact in history happened which would change the Syndicate's way of trading. The Wall Street crash made the Syndicate raise prices on weapons meaning the Sicilian Mafia didn't like it one bit. The Boss of the Sicilian Mafia was Antonio Pegarino. He was a sick and demented man who wanted everything to himself. After around a week of aggro Antonio met with Andrew in a abandonned oil refernary in Long Island. The topic of discussion was the increasing rise of the weapons and how angry the Mafia were. Eventually Pegarino had enough and left.
On the 1st November 1929, Pegarino's men stormed Robert's mansion with their weapons. A small war broke out between the two groups. Robert's men had never really been in a "Gang war" situation before, because they were only helping the Syndicate with deals. Anyhow through the night shots were fired but at around 4:25AM on 2nd November 1929, Andy walked out of his mansion with his remaining men, carrying the bodies of the fallen. This was the day Andy decided after years of acting like a Mafia they decided to actually become one.
In 1930, Kane and Andy had reached the agreement to become a Mafia. In this case the Syndicate decided to change their name into something a little more "Mafia-type". Their new name was the Robert's Family. The name was unfortunatly to be short lived due to Andrew dieing in the summer of 1931. Andy had the British connection therefore he'd always wanted a Brit to take over his Syndicate. That man was Andy's son, Jackson Robert's, who was killed in a car accident just six months after he'd taken over the Robert's Family. It was time for a change, Kane decided that it was time to stop sitting a side and he took on the role of being the Don, and in 1935 the Mafia was once again re-named back to the Syndicate.
Kane died in 1962 after recruiting Associates from all around the world. The Syndicate had turned into a Multicultural Mafia which operated in many major cities in the US such as Chicago Illinois, Miami, Florida, Washington DC and Philadelphia,Pennsylvania. Kane had constructed one of the biggest most powerful Mafia's in US history. A month after Kane died, a meeting was held in EvoCity, United States. The whole Mafia came to the agreement that each state which the Syndicate opperated in there will be a under Boss controling there sector. But the overall Don was Sonny Abruzzo. Sonny's area was EvoCity. After around five years of running the Syndicate, Sonny made frequent visits to Colombia, fixing up a deal with a man named Vergio Mehitez,
the leader of the Colombian Cartel. Sergio and Sonny reached the agreement that the Syndicate would pay the Colombian Cartel a certain amount of money each year for them to import drugs Materials and exlosives directly to EvoCity.
During the 1970's the Syndicate was at war with the Albanian Mafia within EvoCity in a "turf war". This eventually transpired into a full on war with each Mafia attempting to assassinate the Don. The war ended in the early 1980's with the Albanian Don, giving into the Syndicate. The Albanian Mafia were the most powerful in EvoCity but now it lookedas if the Syndicate had taken over that role with there prisiguess leadership.Now in 2014 the Syndicate have appeared in EvoCity once again after many years of waiting, under a new name...

This is the head of the Mob. The boss makes all the decisions to lead his family to high wealth and success.
