Mintall - Let me break it down for ya.
If you had RDM'ed and you stopped with it, would it still be ban-able? If you had FailRPed as a police officer and stopped, would it still be demote-able? Now let's take your example; If someone had been afk for more than 5 minutes, which is against the rules, why does it matter if you came back / stopped with being AFK? You have already committed the rule offence, and thus it's demote-able. It does not matter if you came back and THEN got demoted, as you still had broken the rules which results in a demotion. However, your demotion does not matter as it was your Staff Disrespect that resulted in a ban.
If you really feel the demotion was uncalled for - Do a report on Raptor in the Admin Abuse section. But as it's pretty obvious that you committed staff disrespect, there is no reason for this ban to be removed or lifted. You should never disrespect staff, at all, even if they abused / is mean / demoted you. If they are (abusing and being insultive) - Make an admin abuse case against them, but don't insult the staff (or players).
