WIP, edits will be made and a structure formed as to how it will work.
UNITED NATIONS
The United Nations (UN) is an intergovernmental organization established 24 October 1945, to promote international co-operation.
Evocity has been selected to host this coming conference, due to its conference room capacity.*
It is believed that Evocity is formed of a multiple of citizens from across the globe, thus making it equal territory for all delegates.

The Resolution
The Delegations
There will be as many delegations as possible in the UN. You may apply for a country in which you are not from, so long as you know that country's morals, governmental system, beliefs, religion, etc.
The table will be updated frequently.
(There are currently around 193 states whom which have a place in the UN. Due to this large number, the countries included in this event have been culled. Please send me a pm if there is another country you would like to add.)

Secretary General - In charge of selecting speakers, points of information, introducing speakers, etc.

Security Council (4/5 slots free) - Peacekeepers. Their focus is on the security of the world, but starting with Evocity.

General Assembly President - The president will be a citizen of Evocity. Their job is to announce the topic of the GA, and to pass on to the resoultion.

APPLICATION
Please fill in the following form, including the country you would like to be the delegate for, and past experience in your resume.
You may also include experience of the UN within your OOC information, such as participating in MUN, studying such conferences, etc.
It is strongly recommended that for this roleplay, you have a microphone. The UN is to an extent extreme debating, and the overall effect of mics would be far better than using '/y'.
You are also reminded you do not have to be a resident of that country to apply for delegation.
As long as you can accurately represent the country's views and values, you may choose any country you like.

The date may change, however this is unlikely.
Remember:
- As a delegate, you never refer to anyone in the first person, including yourself. For example, to ask the speaker (who is the delegate of USA) to clarify what they mean by 'world domination via McDonald's', the way they'd ask is: "The delegate of example would like to ask the delegate of the USA to clarify what is meant by 'world domination via McDonald's?"
- Points of information must be in the form of a question to the speaker
- You must speak the views of the country you are the delegate of, no matter what your personal views are. This also means that your alliances are with those of similar interests (i.e. Saudi Arabia will most likely form alliance with countries such as Qatar, whilst the likelihood of the USA supporting North Korea is nil.)
The Secretary General/Chair should also be familiar in the process of a UN GA.
