Allow usage of M4A1 to Police

Title of Suggestion: Let police officers use the m4a1.

Description: Just give them access to it to spawn like you would an MP5.

Why: The m4a1 most closely represents the AR15 that REAL Police Officers use, it would be far more realistic than an mp5.

Simple and easy to do. Would also be a very good gun for police to use.

Why would an american police force be running around with a german sub machine gun.

As you can see in this picture a typical police officer carries a 12 guage shotgun and an AR15 assault rifle.

Since everyone thinks it would be overpowered..

mp5=12 damage per shot. m4a1=15 damage per shot.


ak47=25 damage per shot.

ump45=16 damage per shot (SRU gun and more than m4a1)

Galil=18 damage per shot.

Mac 10=15 damage per shot.

its only a 3 damage increase from the mp5, and the mp5 actually shoots a lot faster.

Simply no chance. If you give police officers an M4A1 this gives no reason for SRU to go on calls as police can use an M4A1. Also not to mention how ridiculous raids will get going against what could be up to 10 M4A4'S. Best just to leave police to use the MP5.-Support

Lets see.. SRU SPAWN with free m4a1s and ump45s filled with ammo. have riot shields, have keypad crackers, lockpicks, and more and you still think one cop with a different rifle would make him equal? m4a1s are also very underpowered compared to the other rifles.

m4a1s are the most possible accurate representation of what real police would have, Real police officers keep an AR15 and a 12 guage shotgun.

Pistols are fine, they are police officers, not SRU. They are meant to patrol the city and arrest people, not participate in large firefights. They should have their own weapons if they want to use them, that's the reason why you have to donate to become SRU.

+support - M4A1s are very government based weapons. I see no reason why they shouldn't have access to them.

This is the inside of a typical american police cruiser, just your normal cop, as you can see, and as I mentioned they carry a 12 guage shotgun (which we have) and an AR15 assault rifle, which is literally just about the same thing as the M4.

All im saying here, is either replace the mp5 with it, because it is very unrealistic for a police officer in America to be using a german sub machine gun.. It will be little to no difference in power, if im correct I think the mp5 is actually more powerful. So anyone saying they would be SRU just because they would use the same gun is wrong. SRU would still be just as highly needed.
