[Guide] How to: Rebel
#1
*The purpose of this guide is for better understanding and performance of the rebel job*

Rebels are probably the most misunderstood and poorly played job on the server. Almost every time someone sees a rebel player, they instantly expect rdm, cdm, breaking fear rp, and generally no roleplay out of this job.

Rebels aren't common criminals who rob people and kill cops all day, speeding through the city yelling "**** the police". They aren't your fantasy of gangsters from your rap/hiphop genre. Rebels are actually supporters of the people who oppose the mistreatment of the common citizen against both the government and criminal organizations. They are labeled as underground because they commonly will employ illegal methods to achieve "justice".

Rebels do not drive sports cars, wear suits, go to fine dining events, own nightclubs for the rich and famous, or build massive elaborate bases to sit on contraband or plot their next raid on anyone just for the reason of contraband. They are poor. They will use lower tech and simpler methods. The reason for this is that the money they make goes to a cause, something greater then the cell they are operating in.

Proper rebel activity:
Taking down dictators
Halting criminal activity that effects the citizens in a negative way
Protesting anything that hurts the people
Disrupting criminal or government events in the case that the group hosting has/intends/or is harming the people
Sheltering and supporting citizens that are in trouble from the government or criminal organizations
Same goes for any clan activity that harms or intends to do harm to the people.

Rebels are freedom fighters. Not street thugs.

Robbing an average upstanding citizen as a rebel makes about as much sense as superman robbing banks and murdering everyone. In case you don't understand the concept, it makes absolutely no sense and should NEVER happen. They would definately rob a rich person who has been taking complete advantage of the public through dirty strategy, a dictator, a mafia that has been extorting people, stuff like that.

That being said, they aren't robin hood either. Just because they stole the money from the dictator who oppressively taxed everyone, doesn't mean they will go around giving the money back to the people. They CAN do that, but they could also keep the money to further their cause by buying arms and equipment. Or to fund a food for the needy event. Just because they will protect someone from oppression, doesn't mean that if the risk is high they won't charge for it. They care but they aren't saints.

All that being said, killing is something that sometimes they can do in SOME of these cases, but realistically they shouldn't start off with violence to make their point MOST of the time. Rebels will most likely use violence first in cases like: Criminals broke in, killed or wounded everyone, stole everything, all of this simply to make a profit, or police are resorting to brutal tactics like slave camps with armed guards.

Bases: Rebel bases shouldn't say "Rebel base" on it. They don't want to be seen right off the bat. Industrial areas, low income areas, junk yards, the woods. Those are places you can expect a rebel to hide out. Rebels will employ contraband to assist them with funding their cause, and definately don't want to attract police attention to this kind of activity. They shouldn't just be standing around with guns out guarding a place, that will get the government on them. That will lead to a shootout, which cost money and sometimes lives of their fellow rebels. They should actually plan out their attacks, strike hard and fast, then vanish like mist once they have struck, not hold guns out hoping the government will ban them so they can raid.

I will now open the floor to any questions or comments and expand this guide as needed to help people understand one of the cooler when properly played, but commonly completely misunderstood and failed at jobs of city rp.
