Where's the heat sink?

He's probably gonna use the stock heat sink that you get with the i5, anyhow. Looks like a pretty damm good computer!
Since i get 40-55 fps on Crysis 2 on extreme settings, you could probably a step up and set it to ultra and perhaps still get 30-60 fps.

Word of advice, Don't buy a 7870 ATM. The 7950s are on sales of epic proportions, considering it's pretty much one of the most powerful cards AMD make, for £200 it's a bargain. Also, 1600mhz RAM would of been better.

Apart from that, pretty good

Hmm i'll look into that 7950. As for the 1600Mhz RAM, having a 1333Mhz doesnt have that big of an impact on the speed, and is not noticeable to the human eye

I was thinking more into Photoshop etc, anyways, here is a 7950 3gb, http://www.dabs.com/products/sapphire-te...-8TYC.html

You can easily max out/play on medium-high all games at 1080p on that, even pushing 2560x1600 res if you lower the settings.

Now that is a tasty video card. BUT it is still quite pricey and if i added it, i would be well over budget
