"Skincorp" Custom steam skins
#1

About us:
A few days ago I decided to start
making custom Steam skins for the Fearless community,
and since then we have already taken on a few people
to help us do this. We are currently a team of 5 working
to give your Steam page a nice refreshing look.

The Team:
Team Leader and Designer: [FL:RP] Makarov
Coding Lead: [FL:RP] Nub ` Aka Martin
Graphics Design Lead: [FL:RP] Freezak
Graphics Design: [FL:RP] noodle
Sound Development: Hyperallergenic Rhinoceros

How to use the skins:
To make these skins work go to /steam/skins.
make a file with name of your choice and make the next files
/resource/styles. once you have done that add the steam.styles
to the last folder in list and then go on Steam, go into your
settings and then interface and change it from default skin to
whatever you named it. also you will have to restart Steam
before and after setting the skin.

Skins being made:
Fearless Community Skin
Current skins available:
Test Skin (please comment on this)

skin i have made but slightly different (fonts, color, etc) either
pm one of us or add us on steam

Good luck with your themes, first of all.
I suggest making a Metro-inspired Steam skin (Metro as in Windows 8 inspired)

I suggest trying this one out: http://boneyardbrew.deviantart.com/art/M...-292419787. There is a download link in the right side of the website saying "Download File".
Open the ZIP file, and find your Steam installation folder (Likely to be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam), and put the folder inside the ZIP file into the folder called "Skins" in your Steam installation folder.
Once you did that open Steam, go to the Settings, Interface and then select the theme.

Restart Steam, and you're done.

Yes, i just tried it out. I like everything, but the Colours around the Friend Icons, if they're playing a game, Away etc.

They look odd. If that was changed i would keep it, but the fact that it has got that, i find it quite difficult to look through the friends list.

I'm going to have a look a bit more, to see if i can find one that suits my style. I now remember in the past i was trying to find a good one, but none of them worked for some reason. I'm going to take a look, as i don't really like to default steam Layout, looks very plain, and not professional.
