The Ultimate Guide To Robbing

Thieves, thugs, scoundrels and scum... this guide will help you understand the basics of Robbing and will lead to a safer experience.

The Biggest Question : Valid Raid Reasons

This question is asked by a lot of people, and it is relating to proper reasons to rob someones home/vehicle. This question should be asked before conducting such things, rather than after improperly doing so and suffering the consequences. Below i will list some proper yet simplified reasons to rob someones house.

1. Let's say someone steals something of yours, whether it be your car or items that were on your property. If your vehicle was stolen, and you happened to know where the thieves home was, then you sure could go take a peek inside and try and retrieve your vehicle. Weapons are always recommended for entering a thieves home, especially when they were involved in stealing a vehicle or belongings. When inside the culprits home, lethal actions should be avoided at all costs, and later in the guide i will specify how to avoid these conflicts.

2. Someone runs over your friend/relative and drives away. Obviously it is recommended that justice is served and you can always call the police and alert them incident and the suspect involved in the hit and run, but there are times when justice does not offer such satisfaction as revenge does. The steps you take should involve tracking down the person responsible. If they are at home, i would recommend getting inside and go to tie the person up. Make them beg for mercy, and you could decide whether to beat them up or take away their life.

3. Physical assault is one of the other controversial reasons that gives a player a proper reason to raid. It really depends on the situation (If they are Random Punching, then it is considered FailRP on their part and thus gives no RP Reason to raid). If you get into an argument and suddenly punches are thrown, then that seems like a completely valid reason to go find the punks home and come back for some further beating. He could be in his home and you just pick the lock or blast the door open with a few of your friends and teach him a lesson that he messed with the wrong person. Obviously lethal actions should be avoided for physical altercations that occur, but beating them is a completely reasonable way to take action.

-There are many other valid reasons to raid someones home and it all depends on the situation, and common sense, but these are just a small example of how raiding becomes valid-

Executing an Efficient Home Robbery

Executing a robbery is a very important step, and it can help make it easier and safe.

1. Get Information

Where does the person live? What car does he have and where is it? Do any friends or relatives live with him? Does he carry a weapon? These are questions that need to be asked.

2. Scout out the building

It is recommended that you stay as far away from the home when scouting it out, and you should rely on your Camera to zoom in and look inside the property and windows to clarify the following

- How many people inside?
- Are police in the area?
- Do they have guns inside their home?
- What does the security look like?
- Are there any cameras looking over their property?

3. Making the move

Robbing in populated areas should always be avoided. Witnesses are liabilities and could lead to the police knowing your identity if these witnesses happen to call the police or give them information.

Always have a friend. You need someone watching your back, maybe even a guy in a getaway vehicle. Without proper planning, and if you are alone, you will most likely end up failing and end up dead or in jail.

If the map provides a time of darkness (V33x) it is recommended that you take advantage of this. Nightfall is a great time to avoid being seen and is much more realistic.

It is very recommended that you wait for the owner to leave his home before going inside, as it reduces the chance that police are called and also the chance that he is going to defend his property.

IMPORTANT: Cameras allow people to survey their property when out, and all you need to do is go up to them and punch them, and then it will fall down. At this point, you should take the camera and throw it somewhere so that they cannot view the robbery or know what is going on.

4. The Aftermath

When finished with a robbery, it is recommended that you "lay low" and stay away from the city. If the owner knows who is responsible, or if a witness saw you exiting it is very likely that they have alerted the authorities, and police may be on the lookout for you or your vehicle. Train tunnels, Warehouses and places that have a fairly low amount of people coming by is a good place to wait around for a little bit.

Approved. Nice work.

Very informative, hopefully people will read this to see good RP reasons to steal a car... Not because they're rebels and they can "do whatever they want" or because they needed a ride somewhere else...
