Questions about a bug bite...
#1
So, yesterday i woke up to see i had spider bites, or some sort of bug bite that itch, on my thumb. Today, my thumb is fully puffed up, cant bend it much, stubbed my thumb and a little part popped open, then started to bruise... Any ideas what kind of bug it would be?

No, You need to do that straight away.

Some spider bites do things like that and the owner is found dead in their sleep the next day.

Will go as soon as i get a ride. But I looked up the two main spiders i could think of that are life threatening near me (brown recluse, and black widow) and i dont have a headache, nausea, or vomiting yet which happens within 2 hours of the bite... it is now over 24 hours... only have a stomach ache of lack of eating. Still not feeling like i'm going to get sick or anything.

I believe the symptoms could be different from person to person, I would recommend visiting a Doctor anyway.

It's obvious that the spiderman part was a joke, but he might get convinced that "sitting tight" is a good idea, which it is not.

See a doctor straight away. If you don't have the money or the ride or anything, just post on yahoo messages or a free "ask a doctor" site until you are able to go to the doctors (which is hopefully within the next few days)
