I was just wondering if I could donate for both me and my friend on one credit card or prepaid card. It seems as if you can but I just want to make sure.

Sure, but you can only donate using PayPal.

Yes, when donating for your friend make sure to fill in his SteamID and follow the usual procedures.

Also make sure you or your friend are NOT on the server when you donate, else it will create problems.

The donator page says they take Visa or MasterCard. As I don't have a PayPal, do I have to go make one JUST to be a donator?

No need for PayPal account, the payment will be made via PayPal.
Edit: Though I would advise using PayPal account when donating, as it would be much quicker and easier.

you dont need a paypal account you just need to use your card on their website......
