Yesterday, I fulfilled a great quest...

I was at my local charity shop (It raises money for Shakespeare's hospice) and I was looking around the game section as I do every week, At first, I found 3 games, Robot wars: Extreme destruction, 1nsane, And Return to castle Wolfenstein. All of them in almost mint condition, I had been looking for all of these games for quite a while! But there was another one that I had been looking for.

But then.

I saw a red box, A golden spine with a small red logo underneath it.

I thought, "No, Impossible."

I didnt look at the name as it was impossible that this was-

LEGO RACERS

I picked it up and looked at the box.

While I was being hit by a nostalgia train, I failed to notice that I had (Actually) pissed my-self.

I didn't care, I grabbed my other 3 games and put £8 on the counter (The usual £1 each for the other games and £5 for this gem I was holding, I got the receipt and sprinted to my bike, Put the games and the gem in the saddle bags on the side and raced (See what I did there?) home, Took the games and the gem into my house, Put them on my computer table, Got the gem, Took the disk out the case, Put it in my computer, Installed it, Launched it, Went through the LEGO logo and got to this:

My life is now complete.

This is a true story! At the moment I am at the level with that bastar* Basil.

When we played this game, We all wondered one thing, "Why didn't they make sets of the racers?

Well, Its because they where so stupid that they missed a chance that would have raked in the dough.

Lego racers is one of the games I've forgotten that I had actually forgot about it. I used to spend ages playing this game, amazing find. xP

BTW, The reason I got this version is that because it was award-winning, They re-released it a year later with demos for other games LEGO where putting out.
