Arma 2 is a very poorly optimized game so you really never know if you can run it on highest settings or not. I have a Radeon Hd 7870 Overclocked and i still only get about 30 to 40 frames when playing DayZ on Ultra and in Full hd.

you should be able to run it. Im running dayz on 10 Fps ( Acceptable if stable ) and getting no problems. But on my desktop. I get well over 101 FPS.

You sure understand that Arma 2 is optimized to run on low end and high end computers? Your map render can be over 9 kilometers on full settings or just a kilometer, Its a simulation game of course it can lag on high end pcs just like FSX for example

From what I've read DayZ relies a lot on the HDD speed
5200rpm for the HDD you've listed may slow it down a lot but there's a program called RamDisk which I'd recommend, it helped me speed up DayZ by around 20fps so the game was a lot more playable.

Edit: This was first posted on the 7th...He probably has his laptop by now ><
