Hey.

So hey. I've been playing v2d and I'm thinking about switching to v33x. I am an experienced roleplayer and hope to have fun here. Just curious though, does your money and playtime save across both servers or does it stay?
Thanks in advance,
Ian 'Rider' McKinzie

Hello and welcome to the Fearless community, I'm sure you'll love it here.

Nice to see an experienced roleplayer arrive, we could do with a few more. Wink

I would definitely recommend v33x, it has way more opportunities for roleplay.

As for your question, yes. The database saves across both servers.

If you have any queries, feel free to hit me up with a PM, otherwise I shall see you in-game!

Well, you could try and make up some sort of roleplay, i.e casino, where you could generate cash. Though keep in mind that most casinos on this server, with the exception of a few, require the owner to either already be rich or the possibility of losing money.

Otherwise, you could donate IRL money for money packs, that is up to you of course.

You could also fish a lot, and by that I mean huge quantities to generate a good revenue. A normal fish tends to sell at around $200 whereas a goldfish can be anywhere above that to nearly $1,000 depending on whom you sell it to.

Another way would be to try and monopolise the gun dealer market for a long period of time, say you and a friend are both gundealers and thus control the entire selling of guns (barring a few who sell their own inventories) and also most of the ammo market. Though bear in mind that generally you have to have a decent supply of cash to sell things without pissing off the customer, not many people are going to want to cash out for a whole shipment of tranquillizer snipers for instance.

Otherwise, if you have some knack with prices you could try and be a trader. Perhaps you see a cheap car going (Make sure it isn't a scam, take screenshots and I tend to write 'So, I am going to buy a <car> for <price>, agreed?' Then screenshot that with the answer, make sure you gather their name too) and then realise that you yourself could sell it for higher.
Keep in mind that you will never sell a car higher than the market price, obviously, and generally people don't want to buy near the market price either. Check out Fultzy's thread on prices in the Help & Support section here.

One example of this making you money is how I have experienced it. I saw someone advertising a Volvo for $80,000. I realised I could get a lot more than this, so bought it up and ended up selling it to another, with use of the Marketplace sub-forum which can be found here. I ended up selling it on for $110,000.
Perhaps try setting up a pawn shop where you buy peoples' goods and try to 'roleplay' getting them to lower prices; perhaps because it is second hand or has a few knocks and bumps, up to you.

All of these are ways I have just thought of in a few minutes, I am sure there are others and perhaps even new ones if you're creative. Another tip is to stock up on ammo if you need it and try to avoid aggressive roleplay, not only is it annoying and results in a lot of hassle, but it is uneconomical because you tend to either lose guns or waste ammo. Don't spend unless you need to, try stocking up on fish and purchase medium pockets instead of large ones as you get more for your money.

I hope all of this helps. Wink
