It's got nothing to do with the map.


I think it's when there are too many props that have been spawned and the database crashes, causing the gamemode to go haywire.

It's not just the FL server that gets this problem, just so you know.

No, it won't make any difference if we change map.

I think he means restart - via changemap, rather than a full reboot.

It's to do with the newest Gmod Update, Garry made it as a crash fix, in the hope it would crash less often.

Once the prop cache is full, it doesn't allow anyone to spawn props any more.

We just give out a bunch of warnings like "Holster your weapons and destroy your contra! Changemap incoming!"

Then we change the map back to EvoCity and you can spawn props again.

Well it's a BIT annoying but better than unexpected crashes cuz at least we get warnings to prepare ourselves.
