Probably is a corrupt file yeah, I have HL2E2 and I had no problems mounting it.

So if it is a corrupted file, will deleting the local content and reinstalling it get rid of the problem?

What I never understood, is, why don't they just use the same water as they use on V2D? I don't own HL, and a lot of other people don't.
