Well as the title said, I kept getting a Buffer overflow in net message error. Any ideas to fix it? (Yes I've tried typing myinfo_bytes 8192 and cl_updaterate 5)

Due to the restricted capabilities of the Source engine and GMod itself, unfortunately there are no effective workarounds to that error.
