It was just a fad, nothing else. Recently the "Cover The Night" action, which was all about plastering walls with posters of Kony (which is fucking annoying, and nearly vandalism) totally bombed. 480.000 people had promised they'd show in Facebook (hah), and that was what the arrangers expected, however, few of them showed.
