Why?
It's causing too much lag and gives only a little appearance for the server it is not needed.

Isn't the whole day and night cycle based on Stormfox?

Though in the last thread, Arny said there was some option to disable it:

Always hated stormfox, ever since it was implemented. Luckily they added options to disable all effects so I could manage to play. However I still support this suggestion.
